Southwood Gift Grows Hands-on Skills for Students

Southwood Landscape and Garden Center is making a $25,000 donation toward Oklahoma State University’s new Greenhouse Learning Center. Combined with a gift of $25,000 from co-founder Joe Schulte, the $50,000 total gift will contribute to the learning center’s state-of-the-art nursery, which will be named the Southwood Landscape & Nursery Prep Area.

Coe discovers passion through research, campus organizations

1 is 2 Many, a White House initiative in response to the increased attention around sexual violence on college campuses, is one of Seraiah Coe’s philanthropic passions. She is deeply passionate about educating young adults on the definition of healthy relationships and believes this is an "important part of the recovery" from a personal experience. She presented her plan to her hometown high school principal in McKinney, Texas, and got approved to present the information to health class in the coming fall semester.

OSU’s new Animal Nutrition and Physiology Center to benefit all of Oklahoma, and beyond

The new center will be a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to conducting animal studies primarily related to climate variability, production efficiency and sustainability in the areas of animal and human health; animal genetics, growth, nutrition and reproduction; and general animal well-being.
